At Oo Spa, we promote all dimensions of wellness. We believe that in order to be your best, you must take care of your overall well-being first. But how? How do we ensure that with our busy lives, we're also taking care of ourselves?

Here are 3 tips to ensure you are putting wellness on the forefront (with the busy, ambitious person in mind!)

1. Daily Exercise

Love the gym? Find a gym with a great atmosphere. Going to the gym seem daunting to you? We know that the "iron paradise" may not be everyone's first choice. Exercise should be something you look forward too. Attend a yoga class, join a spin studio, or try and get a home workout done. Even just going for a walk can release endorphins and ensure you are fulfilling your exercise pillar of wellness. Whatever you choose, get that sweat on! (PS: it will also give you that post-workout glow!)

2. Nourishing your Body

We've all heard the saying "You are what you eat." Well, that's quite literally the case. The food you eat effects everything from how you feel to what you look like! Eating a fresh, whole food based and balanced diet can do wonders for your skin whereas eating a diet that's high in sugar and based on processed foods can do the opposite. Japanese skincare philosophies take a rounded approach and often look to people's diets when finding the root cause of their skin issues.

3. Engaging in self-care practises

Self-care can look very different from person to person. Knowing what resets and recalibrates you is very important. Taking a day off to spend with your loved ones or booking yourself a spa day (at Oo Spa!) are 2 great ways to give yourself the TLC you deserve.
